Scene 1 Take 1, ACTION!
Today marks the start of our filming! But we do have one last place to go before finalising the locations and storyboard. Yes, we found the “Garden of Eden”!
It’s beautiful, trust me. I wanted to stay longer, but time is VERY precious! After confirming the last location, we proceeded with the bedroom scenes.
OUR FILMING OFFICIALLY BEGINS! :)
It was really convenient to already plan everything out carefully; the setups, props, clothings and camera movements/angles. Besides saving time, it allows the work to be completed much more systematically.
I’m so glad that things went smoothly today. We do however had last minute changes. There were problems with casting due to our tight schedule. Our production crew did real well in handling the problem. We have however used our own crew as the main cast of the production, but due to that, we have lesser people on the camera, giving instructions and capturing the audio. Knowing what to already do, helps to keep everything together and not messed up. Talking about the importance of teamwork, eh? ;)
So we had Katini as the main character. I have to say she portrays the character I had in mind well. So did Mas and Afiq. I guess all the Directing & Performance lessons didn’t go to waste!
We shot three scenes for today because of the locations that we have decided upon. We also had to take into consideration of our casts’ schedule, since they are afterall a major part of our production.
All of us deserve a good rest now, goodnight!
